“Born to Perform”
At Platinum Performing Arts, we take great pleasure in coaching the children to develop their talent and pursue their dreams whether that would be in dance, drama, singing or in everyday life. We will encourage students to build on their strengths and participate in activities which will gain confidence to work as part of a group and a solo artist.
We provide children between the ages of 5 – 17 with a platform to boost their confidence through energising dance, singing, drama and fitness lessons. The students will be given
the opportunity to showcase their talents in a variety of performances throughout the year.
Dance Fusion
A collaboration of contemporary, technical, modern and street dance
Aims:
- For students to reach a high level of acceptance required for professional productions in the commercial industry
- To develop posture, co-ordination and dance techniques
- To gain the confidence and skills for a fluent transition using different styles of dance and music
Dance Fusion: also hold separate classes for I.S.T.D examinations in Tap and Ballet into the curriculum
Vocal Coaching
An exciting up-tempo session focusing on developing the vocal skills needed to perform musical theatre and commercial songs
Aims:
- To introduce technical breathing exercises
- To identify each child’s vocal range
- To be able to blend as part of a chorus group, or project as a solo artist
Theatrical Drama
A session that focuses on developing a unique performance from a script. Children will be engaged in activities that will help them to develop characters using a variety of stage techniques
Aims:
- To develop vocal clarity, intonation and projection
- To acquire stage presence
- To gain skills and techniques in script learning through developmental appropriate activities
- To develop the acting skills required to create different characters
- To gain an insight/ experience in technical theatre production. (Some children may not wish to take an acting role, but prefer to develop skills ‘backstage’)
Chi Energy
An empowering session based on Yoga, Tai Chi, Pilates and Martial Art based stretches
Aims:
- To develop physical flexibility, strength and balance
- To encourage discipline within the mind body and soul
- To promote posture awareness
Confidence Zone
An innovative session that concentrates on developing children’s skills in communication, problem solving and team building
Aims:
- To encourage children to recognise their strengths and develop their self esteem
- To increase children’s negotiation and problem solving skills
- To help children set realistic expectations of themselves and others

The children will be organized into groups, according to their age, ability, experience and individual needs. Teachers will happy to answer any questions you may have. Fees will be due on the 1st Sunday of each month. Once we have received all of your forms back, an invoice will be sent out.
